How To Deal With Stress or Sadness?

I think nowadays people get stressed or sad very often. No one can escape from it. Everyone pass through those hard hard times. Sometimes I even get way too stressed about all the school stuff and too sad when something doesn't happen the way I wanted it to be. Just because this happens doesn't mean you should live in it. I think we should find the ways to get our stress and sadness and enjoy our life the way it is because we live only once in this world. So here are some of my tips on how to deal with stress or sadness.

  1. Pray or meditate about the things that make you feel bad and then think and give thanks for every good things that happen with you in your life. Compare how many good things and how many bad things do you have in your life. Usually if you look carefully you'll realise that there are more of good things than bad. The problem is when we find something bad in our life we somehow are used to focus only on this one bad thing and forget about all the others that are good.

A good way to train focusing on the good is to have a mini happiness diary. In this diary you could write down everything that made you happy during the day. Then when a "bad" day will come you could look at your diary and remember about all the good times. :)

2. The other thing that really calms me down is any kind of needlework. Do DIYs, knit, embroider, sew or maybe even paint a coloring book. It's scientifically proved that when people do some accurate handwork their nerves calm down.

3. Listen to some super optimistic positive music instead of sad ballads that will make you feel only worse. I like listening to these songs:

  • Taylor Swift - Shake It Off
  • Pharrell Williams - Happy
  • Alesso - Heroes
  • Selena Gomez - Who Says
  • One Direction - What Makes You Beautiful
  • Birdy - Tee Shirt
  • Adam Barnes - She Will Stay Beneath The Moon
  • One Direction - Best Song Ever
  • Michelle Williams - Say Yes ft. Beyonce & Kelly Rowland
  • Newsboys - Live With Abandon
  • Kari Jobe - Everyone Needs A Little
  • ZAZ - Paris Sera Toujours Paris
  • Mark Ronson - Uptown Funk ft. Bruno Mars
  • Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass

4. Just do what you like and what makes you happy. Don't forget to spend time with friends and family. :) They are the ones who can give you support and help at the hard times.

Live, Love & Laugh!
Be happy! :)

Review:Maybelline New York Baby Lips

This week I bought Maybelline New York Baby Lips because there were a lot of advertising on them and I've seen a lot of people wearing them so I decided to give it a try. :)

Peach Kiss and Peppermint

They cost each one 2,55 euros. Peach Kiss really smells with peach and Peppermint really smells with peppermint. Both of these lip balms give a little shine to the lips and peach kiss also gives a little of peach color. They really are moisturising but not for 8 hours they are moisturising for about 3 hours. I really love them especially the Peach Kiss. Texture is good and they aren't sticky. So I am definately going to repurchase them again. Now I think to add to my Maybelline Baby Lips collection a Cherry Me shade because I've seen people wearing it and I think it is very pretty.

This is how Peach Kiss looks like. Peppermint doesn't give any color at all.

What is your favourite Maybelline New York Baby Lips?
:) :) :)

Little things :)

This month I received some cute presents from my family without any reason. Surprising things like that always make you feel special and make your life a little bit more colorful and interesting. So, I decided to share these things with you.

My grandmother gave me a hand cream exactly when I needed it the most. My previous hand cream had a huge package so it wasn't comfortable to take it with me when I'd go out and knew that my hands are going to become super dry after a few hours because it's very cold. So my grandmother decided to give me a  hand cream in a little package. :) Exactly what I needed. :) It's called Hand & Nail Cream Aloe Herbal Cosmetics. This hand cream has extracts of aloe in it and it also smells with aloe. It's not my favourite scent to be honest but it's better than nothing. Plus this cream has more pluses than minuses. It softens and moisturises very good, it also has keratin in it that strengthen nails and it's compact.
The little mirror I received from my sister exactly when mine broke. It's with wood. I really like things made of wood. I think wooden things always look better than plastic. How many times did I say word wood? :P
And this little another wooden thing was made to be a flower pot but I use it as a little box for little things for example my little mirror and the hand cream. :) I received it from my sister, too. It has inscription on it: "Eine Blume für Dich". Translating from German it means: "A flower for you". It's very cute. And it looks very beautiful as a decor on my table. :)

But what little things make you happy?

Review: Grace Cole England Luxury Hand &Nail Cream

This month my Mum received a hand & nail cream by Grace Cole England. I decided to try it and I loved it so much so now it's a my cream. This is why I decided to do a little review on it. :)
The official name of the cream is Boutique Luxury Hand & Nail Cream Vanila Blush & Peony.
Firstly, it came in a very beautiful package. Unfortunately my Mum took off the package before I took a picture of it but you can look at the package on the Grace Cole's website. I'll leave all the links below.

So, about the cream. It's very light and smells very good. It smells with vanilla. I literally want to eat my hands after using it. I think if someone put it on a cake and didn't say me it's a hand cream I would it together with a cake because the smell of it is just AMAZING! It's not super moisturising for the colder months, but I think it would be perfect for spring and summer when it's warm. It softens hands very good.
The package says it has extracts of almond oil, silk and champagne. Sounds interesting.

DIY: Makeup-holder

Do you remember I told you that I wanted to buy a makeup-holder from Tiger?
So, sometimes you don't need to spend a lot of money on the things you want. You can just use your creativity and do these things yourself!
On Christmas my Mum bought some cookies. The package of this cookies looked the same as most of makeup-holders. So, after we ate the cookies I just took this package, cleaned it, changed a little and voila the makeup-holder is ready! It's very compact and looks pretty on my table. :)

Do you like it? Show me your DIYs!

Review: Flormar Pretty Compact Powder

Recently I bought a new powder to just simply try it. It cost only 1,79 euros. The cheapest powder ever. I have already said once that I'm not a big fan at all of Flormar cosmetics. So I have very mixed feelings about this powder. I'm going to tell you the pluses and the minuses of it.

Let's start with the pluses! :)
  1. This powder is not pricey at all.
  2. It has a pretty and compact package. It will be easy to carry it in your little handbag.
  3. It does make your skin mate and last for a long time.
And minuses. :(
  1. It smells bad. Actually in my opinion cosmetics should not smell at all and when it smells bad it is even worse.
  2. It's very harsh on my skin.
  3. After using it my skin feels terrible. It's dry and irritated.
To sum up it all, I would say that if you have a sensitive skin like mine then you shouldn't buy it. It's better to save a little more money and buy the Rimmel London Stay Mate Powder which I use most of the time. :)

How I went to H&M, House and Sinsay. Expectations Vs. Reality

At the last time a lot of people around me have been telling me that there are a lot of cool clothes at H&M. And it is just killing me because every time I go to H&M I can't find anything I'd really like to purchase. Right now there are sales almost in every shop but my warderobe is overfilled with clothes so I don't really need to buy anything. So I decided to go to H&M on the Internet and then try to find all the clothes I liked on the Internet in the real life just for fun and because I wanted kind of explore the H&M. And this is what happened.

My expectations or what I found at H&M on the Internet:

Patterned jersey top

Long-sleeved blouse

I really liked the colours and the birds of these tops.

Crêpe jacket
I just need a new black everyday jacket.

Jersey dress

It's just a little black dress. I find it very cute and classy. A perfect choice for everyday outfut.

So, this was what I found online. Then I decided to go to shopping in real life.

H&M Real Life.

Unfortunately, in real life I didn't find anything I found on the Internet.

This blouse was the first thing I really liked. :) And it has butterflies on it. It costs 9,99 euros.

Pajama's bottom. It is very soft and cozy. I love things like that. I think it also has a very beautiful pattern. It costs 9,99 euros. I think if I bought it I would NEVER stop wearing it because it's SUPER soft.

This is just a cute top. :) It costs 14,99 euros.

This is a very cute sweater with Minnie Mouse. I love Mickey and Minie Mouse. <3 It costs 14,99 euros.

I think you can see what it is. I like it because it has very beautiful pattern. Right now it's only 7 euros.

I think this long-sleeved blouse is very cute but I'm not sure if I'd wear it. It costs 14,99 euros.

And again my favourite pattern and favourite colour. It costs 9,99 euros.

I really like this top because it's very loose. I like wearing clothes like that. I feel myself comfortable in it. I can't remember how much it costs but probably it's about from 10 to 15 euros.
This is the last thing I liked from H&M. It is very soft gray sweater. You can't really see how beautiful it really is at the photo but it is beautiful. :) I love soft gray cozy sweaters. They make me feel good. It costs 19,99 euros.

After that I also went to some other shops.

House.

It's Bambi. I love Bambi and this top is very cute. Right now it costs only 7,99 euros.

I don't remember how much it costs but it's another cute top. I love floral print.

Accessories. I have way too much earrings. I have rings but I don't really wear them. And I don't have any bracelets I could wear at some festive events. So I really need to buy a cute bracelet like it but it's very hard to find something like that for a cheap price at my favourite shops. This one costs about 5 euros, I think.

The last shop I went to is Sinsay.

Sinsay has a lot of beautiful tops for Summer but as it Winter I tried to find something wintery.

I think this top is cute and warm enough for Winter. It costs 11,99 euros right now.

Probably, that's all. I really want to buy some cute tops, bracelets and dresses when time will be closer to Spring/Summer. Do you have any suggestions where I could do it?

Secret Road Trip To Lithuania

So, now when it's time to go back to school or work it's so nice to remember the sweet memories of the passed holidays.
I've decided to share with you my little road trip to Lithuania which I had about two weeks ago. :) It is one of best memories I made this last break.
Let's start from the beginning. I and my family went to Lithuania, Vilnius by car. It took us about 4 hours to get there. :)

When we finally got there went to our hotels. Parents' hotel was in the city centre but childrens' including me was located on the other side of the river. We didn't want to live so far from each other it happened because my Dad did a little mistake when he was booking our hotels.

A beautiful view from my hotel room. :)

Then we went to a Chinese restaurant. The food was delicious but we ordered way too much. We didn't know the portions will be that big. My brother even ate a rabbit there. I really liked the interior, too.

The dish I ordered. It tasted like pasta with cabbage.

There also was a cute little aquarium in that restaurant.

Then after that we went for a walk. :)
Vilnius is a beautiful city.

I really like this photo. Reminds me of a fairytale town.

A very musical Christmas tree.

In the evening we went to a cafe. Food again as always. What else to do on a road trip? lol. There we drank some tea with cakes and ice-cream. Yummy. It was very cold so we really needed some tea to get warm. :)

The interior was beautiful, too.

So, it was the end of the first day. Then we got some sleep and in the morning we had a very tasty breakfast. :)

Yes, that's a lot of food.

Then we went shopping. I went to some cosmetics shops and found a lot of brands I never noticed here in Lavia but now I know about them and I also know that it is possible to find most of these brands in Latvia, too. What a cognitive shopping. :D
Then we went to another restaurant. Most of us ordered cheese cakes, pancakes or ice-cream. We also played a table game there. It is called Dobble. This game is very interesting and it's very fun to play it. It also improves attentiveness very well.

And this was the last photo I took in Lithuania. What a beautiful sky. Really. I'm going to miss it.
