A Week In a Blog Post :)

So the passed week was very bussy and full of events and cool things. :)

I've taken part in Green Event. It was about volunteering and spend some awesome time with little children for two days... like a little camp. :) I had my own group of children. We called ourselves People X The Team of Mr. Green. It was very funny. We played games together. Children had opportunity to go to any kind of creative class during this event. There were sport, dances, handcraft, cooking and music. We also played a BIG game which children enjoyed. They had to compete with each other and in the end everybody won. :) We also watched a very good movie about a girl who saved her family and the whole country but I don't remember how this film was called. It all was very fun and children were so nice. At the end some children hugged me and said that they will come next time if there will be any events like that. So it was very nice and I really have good memories about it.

My team. :)

Watching a play. :)

Playing the BIG game. :)

After that I've taken up my courses called "Fashion and Style". So probably soon I'm going to share with you some style/fashion secrets. I think I am going to like these classes because the woman who is teaching us is a stylist that I personally really like. She has written one book called Style's secrets about two years ago and I've really enjoyed reading it so I hope the course is going to be even more interesting. :D

And to finish my AWESOME Spring Break I've visited some of my friends and had a girls party! :) Laughing, watching films, sharing secrets and interesting life stories. :)

Also during that week I and my friends have cooked an apple pie and filmed a video about it! Check it out here:

All in all, I am thankful for the passed week. :)

How To: Apple Pie's Recipe

Some time ago my friend Nadine taught me to cook apple pie. And today I've decided to share with you the recipe :)

3 apples, cinnamon, sugar, baking powder, flour, oat flakes, butter and 4 eggs.

How To Make The Dough:
Mix 100 grams of butter with a glass of sugar, a glass of flour, a glass and a half of oat flakes and two tea spoons of baking powder.

This is how your dough should look like in the end. :)

How To Make The Filling:
Just cut your 3 apples into small pieces and remove all the unnecessary things from them. Then fry them with a little bit of butter, sugar and cinnamon for 5-10 minutes.

Once your dough and apples are ready put it in a form:
First layer is 1/2 of the dough, second layer is apples and the last layer is the rest of the dough.

When your oven is warm put a cake in there for 40 minutes and it's ready! :)

And this is the done apple pie! :)

I've also made a video of cooking apple pie! Check it out here:

Good times, Friends, Food & More

During the last week I've met and spent time with a lot of my good old friends. It was so nice and comforting. I've missed them all so much. Since I've changed the school there isn't much time to meet my old friends as often as I used to but it made every time we meet more precious. Sometimes only when you loose something you realise how much it mean for you. :)
  Let's start from the beginning.
On Saturday I and my friends decided to celebrate The International Women's Day a bit early. We had a big girls party!!! :D A lot of girls have cooked cakes themselves. We even had a competition for the most delicious cake. :) There was so much food that it just wasn't possible to taste every dish by little. Then after eating these delicious cakes we had some girl time talking about clothes and fashion. One of the women has finished stylist's courses so we could ask her questions and had a little consultation (probably I annoyed everybody because I as always had lots of questions). After that we watched The Princess Diaries (I love this film!!!) with my favourite actress Anne Hathaway, had a lot of laughter and fun. It was very nice! The last time we spent some time all together only girls in September and I wish we could spend more time like this. After the party I also spent some time with my best friend Nadine! I really like spending time with her because she always understands me and I understand her and she's so hilarious so we always have fun together. :D

This is our girl party!

And this is the food. :)
We also had pizzas, ice-cream and pop-corn.

Then this week I was so lucky with my schedule at school because almost every day some lessons were cancelled by different reasons. So I had some more free time and decided to meet my friends from my old school and also did a little of shopping and went to new restaurants at Riga. :)

Yesterday I went to a new restaurant called "Food & More". It was so awkward because the hall at this restaurant is big and I was the only client there. It's kind of weird. :) But this restaurant is very beautiful inside and the food there is very fresh and not too pricey. I've ordered one classical burger and then had to wait for 10 min. After 10 min I've received the tastiest burger EVER. I've never eaten a burger like this before. I could feel that the salad and tomatoes are fresh. And this one was very very fresh and I've never eaten that fresh burger at McDonald's or Hesburger in my whole life before I think.

At Food & More.

The fairy burger. :P

After exploring new restaurants that same day I met my old friend Sveta and today I also met my friend Lera. :) You know this feeling. When you meet your old best friend and then you just begin to laugh out loud with no reason. Just you're friends and every time you meet each other you begin to act like idiots, have these stupid smiles on your face, do weird motions and laugh and laugh and laugh...

I know we live in a very busy and fast world but finding time to spend with friends and family is very important. It makes you spiritually and emotionally richer. Makes you happier. Brings meaning to life. Good memories. Something important and worth fighting for. :)
So I just want to tell my every single friend taht I love you and thank you for being there for me. I really appreciate that. <3

Remember and love your families and friends!

Hair Talk and My Fast and Easy Hairstyles

I know hair might be a huge issue for a lot of women. I am not an exception. It's very hard for me to take care of my hair. They get dirty very fast, tangle, get fluffy as soon as I leave my house etc.
But sometimes I do quite well. :)
To do something good out of my terrible hair I most of the time use (or at least should use) a shampoo for sensitive skin and damaged hair as I have sensitive skin absolutely everywhere. I wash my hair with shampoo twice and after that I dry them with a towel so they aren't comletely wet but only a little wet. Then I take my conditioner and apply it only at the endings/length of my hair ( about 6 cm away from the head). Then I wait for about 5-10 min (you should read in the instruction how much time does your hair conditrioner takes) and then wash off the conditioner. Hair conditioner is very important! It makes hair softer, more protected and less tangled. I don't have only one brand of products for my hair that I use all the time but most of the time I use special therapeutic shampoos from pharmacy.
If you see/feel that you really have hair problems then necessarily consult with your hairdresser or doctor. It's better late than never!
And also you shouldn't wash you hair every day! It's a myth. Everyone should wash hair when they see it's about to get dirty if your hair can stay clean for two or three days then you can wash them every two/three days. :)

And now about the hairstyles! :)
Most of the time I just staighten my hair with a hair dryer, then brush them and do nothing. But sometimes when I'm not good enough at taking care of my hair and they are dirty I do some hairstyles to hide it like Messy Bun or just a High Pony Tail. But SOMETIMES my hair are clean and I just get inspiration to do something nice with them. A nice hairstyle. I am comletely rubbish at it but I try as much as I can.  I have that kind of haircut so the hair in front are shorter then the hair at the back so it's quite hard to do any hairstyles with that haircut and I know I'm not the only one who has this problem. So I decided to do a quick video showing my fast and easy hairstyle ideas! :)

DIY Accessories Ideas

Just decided to share some more of my DIY accessories ideas! :)

This is an earring I've made recently. Unfortunately, I haven't made a second pair but hopefully I'll do it soon. :) All I needed were some beads and threads. And it does take a lot of time and patience but it's woth that. ;)

This is a necklace I've made recently and have been loving to wear it!

I just bought this pendant, took a transparent thread instead of a chain and voila it's done!

This is how it looks like on my neck!

Hoping you got inspired at least a little! :)

Lots of Love,

P.S. All the small metalic details you can find at the craft store! ;)

SHARE with me your ideas PLEASE! :)

My Everyday Natural Makeup Look Routine :)

So, I'm that kind of person that doesn't like wearing a lot of makeup or very bold makeup every day. I like keeping it simple, easy and light and let people see more of my natural beauty. A lot of people have been asking me how do I do my makeup so nobody really sees there is a makeup on me but at the same time I don't look like a beast. :D So, I just decided to write this short post for you to finally let you know. :)

1. First, I apply a concealer under my eyes where I have dark circles and everywhere where I have scars or break outs. My favourite concealer at the moment is Rimmel London Hide The Blemish  Concealer in shade Soft Honey.

2. I usually don't apply any foundation because most of the time my skin's colour is enough healthy and tanned but if I feel there is a necessary to add more coverage I use BB cream instead of foundation. My favourite BB cream is Maybelline New York Dream Fresh BB Cream in shade 2 Medium.

3. After that I do my eyebrows and add a little of eye pencil mostly only on my bottom lashes line but also a little at the top, too. For eyebrows I use Rimmel London Eyebrow Pencil 001 Dark Brown and for eyes my Catrice Cosmetics eye pencil (I don't really  like it but I haven't purchased any new one yet so I'm using this one).

4. If I want to be SUPER natural then I'm not using mascara but sometimes I just can't not to use at least a little of it at the very endings of the lashes. Usually I use Catrice Cosmetics Better Than False Lashes Volume Mascara Ultra Black ( I'd prefer to use Maybelline mascara but this one isn't so bad if to be honest). :)

5. After my eyes are done I add a lip balm with a hint of colour and a little of shimmer in it. I am just OBSESSED with Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balms. They are perfect! So if you want a Natural Makeup Look I'd definetely go for that. My favourite Baby Lips Lip Balms are in shade Cherry Me and Peach Kiss. :)

6. And then at the very end of it all I add a little of blusher at my cheeks. My blusher is almost over now so I didn't see the point to take a picture of it. But I think you can use any blusher that you like. I don't really have any preferences. Although I really liked one blusher from Mac that is already sold out. :( And there are some nice at NYX.... so yes... blusher to make your skin look even more healthy. :)

At the very end of it all this is what should turn out of it. :)

P.S. I am weird.

Lots of Love,

You're Beautiful!
